In your area

Delivering the new railway respectfully and improving the experience of communities along the line of route is a top priority for HS2.

Our aspiration is to respect the people and places we impact, keeping them informed, listening and responding quickly to queries and concerns. We want to deliver the railway with them, rather than do it to them.

We have set up two funds for local communities along the route to regenerate public spaces and buildings. The Community and Environment Fund (CEF) and the Business and Local Environment Fund (BLEF) are collectively worth £45 million and will leave a sustainable legacy where possible.
